It was a smashing glory as Mohammed Zakir of Bhubaneshwar created a record by breaking open green coconuts with his elbow than anyone has done before.

Zakir broke open 200 green coconuts with his elbow in a little over 3 minutes. A feat monitored by the Limca Book of Records.

G S Mastana, DIG, CRPF & Event Monitor said, "He has broken 200 green coconuts in 3 minutes 16 seconds and this is a new record."

B B Harichandan, Minister RD, Industries & Law of Orissa said, "This hidden talent has now been exposed and we all expect that this will be recorded in the Limca Book of Records."

5 months ago Keshav Swain, also from Bhubaneswar made it to the Limca Book of Records by breaking open 72 green coconuts in a minute.

That inspired Zakir to try something bigger, as he once sold green coconuts.

Zakir said, "I wanted to beat his record to earn name and fame. If some one can break my record he too can become famous."

Zakir has reasons to feel on top of the world asc for 2 years he also tried emulating Buddhia's former coach Biranchi Das, by pitching for a child marathon runner Dilip Rana.

But unlike Buddhia, his prot g never made it to the Limca Book.
