Kumbabishekam news
1. Maha Samprokshanam (Kumbabishekam) of Lord Veetrirundha Lakshmi Narayana Perumal at Neervalur village off Chennai Bangalore highway was performed on 27-01-08 amids chanting of vedas around 10-15 to10.30 am. His Holiness 45th Jeeyer of Ahobhila Mutt graced th occasion.
2. Thiruppullani is one of the 108 Vaishnava Divyadesam and it is saddening to note that the temple is not maintained in good repair. The tall Rajagopuram and most portions of the temple are in a very bad state of dilapidation. It is strange that when we are so enthusiastic about consecrating ever newer temples every other day, we fail to pay attention to our rich heritage and maintain it as it deserves to be maintained. Efforts are on by a group of persons who have formed trust in the name of 'Sri. Padmasani Thayar Kaingarya Sabha' to raise funds to renovate the temple. 3. Alapuzha Sri.Murugan Temple Kumbabishekam is fixed on 15-07-07. Daily ganapathi homam, Mrithiunja Homam,Sudharshana Homam is performed by pundits.

we come across lot of old and historic temples in India. Most of the temples are taken care of by local people and religious minded persons. Some temples in remote areas and villages need to be taken care of by us to keep the tradition and culture going. Pl donate liberally for this noble cause and also try to physical service to humanity/religion/temples.
