The kumbabishekam (consecration) and aradhana (rituals) are to take place at Sri Vijayagopala Yathi Swamigal Adhisthana near Thirumalairoyan River at Polagam on 20 January.
It is said that the Swamigal attained moksha (self-attained end) at Polagam Village in Nagapattinam district. . Krishnapremi Swamigal found the place and set up a brindavan (memorial) and established a bhajan mandali with the help of Guruji Sri Muralidhara Swamigal and performs every year aradhana on Dwadasi thithi (the day he reached the lotus feet of God). Sri Vijayagopala Yathi Swamigal adhishtanam has been renovated with a new black stone (Karunkal). Aradhanai utsav would take place on 27 January on Shuklapaksha Dwadasi (12th day after New Moon) Day. From 20 January to 27 January, Krishnapremi Swamigal’s Srimad Bhagawatha Sapthaham (discourse) has been planned. On 28 January, the Radha Kalyanam Vaibavam (celestial wedding) would be organised and on 29 January, the Anjaneya Utsavam would be held. |
